How the Vector Prime strategy works

Vector Prime joins two tools that answer different questions. Linear Regression Candles redraw each bar around a regression line, so the noise of a single wick stops mattering and the underlying direction becomes visible. MACD, on the other hand, measures whether that direction still has strength behind it.

The robot waits until both agree. When the regression candles turn and the MACD line crosses its signal in the same direction, it opens the trade. As a result the entry arrives a little later than a raw price signal, and in exchange it skips most of the false turns that happen inside a range.

What you can change

The regression period is the first thing worth touching. A shorter period reacts sooner and trades more often, a longer one waits and trades less. Beyond that you can replace MACD with any oscillator you prefer, because the entry function receives a simple direction, or drop the second filter entirely and see what the regression alone does on your pair.
